Yesterday I got all excited about 36″ printed latex, well who wouldn’t. I hope it will be yet another service I can offer and also incorporate the Special Occasion Foils designs on to these latex balloons aswell.
So there I was chilling after work last night with a cold beer and in pops an order on the Blackberry for Special Occasion Foils needed for this weekend (there’s nothing like leaving to the last minute) so just to reassure to customer I call her and tell her its all OK and I can meet her deadline requirements. We get chatting and strike up a good rapport on the phone and I tell her about the 36″ printed latex. The next think I know she places and order and asks me for two 36″ latex with a black print. I explain to her we are only under a test period at the moment but OK let’s do it
Now if any of you are like me then you will share the same passion I have for my company and this industry. I never stop thinking of the next idea…..
“IF I CAN PRINT ONE COLOUR ON TO 36″ LATEX WHY CAN I PRINT 2 OR 3 COLOUR OR EVEN MORE”
So I have a few more beers and the cogs in my head keep turning and turning and turning and then it’s one of those EUREKA moments.
So I’m up at the crack of a sparrows fart this morning and bounce into the office. The first job of the day is the “Well Child” Starpoint foils as mentioned in an earlier Blog. It’s a 3 colour print so why not make use of the same screens and apply it to 36″ latex.
Now I know it’s not perfect and I know I need to make the print area bigger and I know how to achieve that. Single colour print will be available in quantities of 2 or more but 2 colour or more will need to be 5 or even 10+. Just need to work price out now
