I’ve been in this industry for over 21 yeas now and screen printing latex and foil balloons has occupied about 10 of those years. What the customer see’s is perfectly printed latex and foil balloon with their chosen message or company logo, what the customer does not see is what goes on behind the scenes. It’s a bit like theatre, the chaos and mess behind insures the perfect production that the customer longs for. Today is screen cleaning day, enjoy the chaos and mess….
Todays screens that need cleaning, lets get busy
Disolve paste being applied, this removes the used coating from the screen
The disolve paste is then jet washed off, told you it was a messy job
After applying the disolve paste and jetwashing each screen it's time for the next step, "Stain-A-Way". This removes any embeded image in the screen
After the "Stain-A-Way has been jest washed off, perfect and ready for coating
All cleaned and ready for coating
Prior to coating with "Photo Coat" we switch to red light as the solution is light sensitive
After the Photo Coat has been applied
The screens are then heat dried
The last few, phew thank god for that
All stacked away and ready to use. Im off for a beer
These should last a few days then we can do it all over agin, lucky me.
